A SIMPLE START

What to prepare

  • Printed Jungle kit and one coloring sheet per child.
  • Crayons, tape and green paper for large leaves.
  • A box for finished drawings and open space to move.

The colors of this party

Leaf green, cream and soft yellow. A plain tablecloth lets the illustrations and bunting stand out.

Choose a few pieces you love. You do not need to use every decoration in the kit.

Set it up in three steps

  1. Hang bunting behind the table and put labels on favors. Keep food separate from art supplies.

  2. Set up three stations: welcome coloring, animal play and a quiet corner with Nubi pictures.

  3. Cut out decorations ahead of time. Adults assemble them and keep strings and small pieces out of younger children’s reach.

A CELEBRATION WITH DISCOVERIES

Two games, two ways to join

Ages 2–4, with a grown-up · 5–8 min

Animal movements

  1. Name an animal and show a movement: an elephant with an arm for a trunk, a bird flapping wings or a monkey stretching.
  2. Invite children to copy it in their own spot. Anyone who prefers can point to a picture instead of moving.
  3. Finish by asking: which one had a trunk? Celebrate their observations without making it a competition.
Ages 5–7 · 10–15 min

Jungle detectives

  1. Draw a bird, a monkey and an elephant on three sheets. Put them where everyone can see.
  2. Give clues: it has feathers; it has a trunk; it has fur. Each team explains its choice.
  3. Make up a story in which the Petu sisters help an animal. Each person adds a sentence or a drawing.

Suggested ages and times. Offer a quieter alternative and let each child join at their own pace.

Questions before the party

Do I need special decorations?

Start with the kit, a plain tablecloth and colored paper. These ideas use everyday supplies and you can print only the pages you need.

Does it work for mixed ages?

Yes. Younger children can copy movements or point to animals; older children can give the clues. Keep activities short and leave a coloring table available.

Can I change the invitation’s name and date?

Yes. Use the invitation editor on the main Birthdays page and print it or save it as a PDF from your browser. Save your file before reloading the page.
